This is best made a day ahead and reheated....but try this..!

Beef Brisket Recipe Ingredients:

* 1 envelope (about 1 ounce) onion soup mix
* 1-1/2 cups burgundy wine
* 1/4 cup water
* 2 Tablespoons flour
* 1 Tablespoon dried basil
* 2 teaspoons dried thyme
* 1/3 cup orange marmalade
* 1-1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel
* 2 teaspoons sugar
* 4 cloves garlic, minced
* 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pepper to taste
* 1 (4-pound) brisket of beef, trimmed of as much fat as possible
* 1 pound mushrooms, cleaned (if large, cut in halves or quarters)

Beef Brisket Recipe Instructions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
In a roaster into which the brisket fits comfortably, stir together soup mix, wine, water and flour until blended. Stir in basil, thyme, marmalade, orange peel, sugar, garlic, and pepper. Add brisket, spooning some of the sauce over the top.
Cover and bake for 4 hours, basting every hour until tender when pierced with a fork. If sauce bubbles rapidly, reduce oven to 275 degrees F.

Remove from oven and place brisket on a sheet of heavy foil. Pour sauce into a bowl, cover, and refrigerate. When brisket is cool, wrap in foil and refrigerate. (Brisket and sauce may be refrigerated separately overnight).
Remove solidified fat from sauce and discard. Slice brisket thinly against the grain. Overlap slices in a shallow, ovenproof dish that is just large enough to hold them. Pour sauce over meat. (Brisket may be refrigerated, covered, up to 2 days or frozen. Defrost in refrigerator overnight. Bring to room temperature before reheating.)

To Reheat:
Preheat oven to 325 or 350 degrees F. Add mushrooms to meat, basting with sauce. Bake, covered with foil, for 40 to 50 minutes, basting once, until heated through and mushrooms are
tender. Great beef brisket recipe is ready to serve..mmm..delicious !

beef-brisket-with-garlic

Beef Brisket Braised in Beer Recipe

Brisket Braised in Beer Recipe
...another amazing beef brisket recipe to try...delicious !

Beef Brisket Recipe Ingredients

3 thinly sliced onions

6 boiling potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces

4 slices chopped bacon

4 (12 ounces each) bottles beer (not dark)

2 Tbsp unsalted butter, softened but not melted

6 carrots, cut crosswise into 1 1/2-inch pieces

2 Tbsp all-purpose flour

2-1/2 pounds brisket

1 large peeled rutabaga, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

1/2 cup minced fresh parsley

Beef Brisket Recipe Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cook bacon in an ovenproof kettle over moderate heat, stirring, until crisp. Roasted whole garlic cloves have a delicious mild nutty taste with just a hint of garlic flavor. This brisket is moist and tender.

Beef Brisket Recipe Ingredients:

* 2 tablespoons olive oil
* 1 (5 to 6 pounds) beef brisket, rinsed and patted dry
* Kosher salt and freshly-ground pepper
* 40 large cloves garlic, peeled (about 3 to 4 heads of garlic - see Notes)
* 1 large sweet onion, sliced and separated into rings
* 1/4 cup red wine or balsamic vinegar
* 2 to 3 cups beef or chicken broth
* 2 teaspoons dried oregano, crushed
* 1 teaspoon dried basil

Beef Brisket Recipe Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Season beef brisket liberally on both sides with kosher salt and freshly-ground black pepper.
Heat a large Dutch oven or heavy, deep-sided, oven-proof skillet with a lid over medium-high heat. Add olive oil to coat the bottom. Sear both sides of brisket, beginning with fat-side down, until golden brown. Remove to a platter.

Add garlic cloves and sweet onion rings to the remaining oil in the pan. Cook and stir until garlic begins to turn golden and sweet onions are limp.

Add red wine or balsamic vinegar and deglaze the pan, stirring for 1 minute while scraping up the browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add beef or chicken broth, oregano, and basil.
Bring back to a simmer, then turn off heat. Move garlic and onions to the side and return brisket to the Dutch oven or skillet. Spoon garlic and onions over the top of the brisket, cover tightly, and place in the oven.

Bake beef brisket for 1 hour at 325 F. Reduce heat to 300 and bake an additional 1-1/2 to 2 hours, or until brisket is fork-tender. Remove brisket to a platter and cover to keep warm. Let rest for 10 minutes.
Remove half of of garlic cloves and most of onions to a bowl.

Skim off excess oil from the pan gravy and discard. Blend pan gravy and garlic until smooth. You can add a flour or cornstarch slurry to thicken gravy, if you wish. Return reserved whole garlic cloves and onions to the gravy.

Slice beef brisket diagonally across the grain. Serve with pan gravy..and its ready to serve ! Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Season the brisket all over with seasoned salt, and place in a roasting pan. Pour the apple juice over it, and cover tightly with aluminum foil.
2. Roast the brisket for 3 hours in the preheated oven. Don't peek.
3. Prepare a grill for low heat. In a small bowl, stir together the honey and soy sauce, and season with seasoned salt.
4. When the roast comes out of the oven, place it on the preheated grill. Grill for 30 minutes, turning frequently and basting with the honey sauce.
5. Meanwhile, in a saucepan over low heat, make a barbeque sauce by combining the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, cider vinegar, seasoned salt, and garlic powder. Cook and stir over low heat for 15 minutes without allowing the sauce to boil. If you boil the sauce, it becomes very vinegary.
6. Let the brisket rest for about 10 minutes after it comes off the grill. Slice and serve with the barbeque sauce.

Beef Brisket on Buns

BEEF BRISKET RECIPE ON BUNS
Great buns beef brisket recipe... nice to try..

BEEF BRISKET RECIPES INGREDIENTS

* 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
* 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
* 1 (5 pound) fresh beef brisket
* 2 cups water
* 1 cup ketchup
* 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
* 2 tablespoons brown sugar
* 2 teaspoons liquid smoke (optional)
* 1 teaspoon chili powder
* 18 sandwich buns, split (optional)

BEEF BRISKET RECIPES INSTRUCTIONS

1. Add desired wood chips (see notes below).

Trim excess fat from beef brisket. Combine paprika and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Rub evenly over surface of beef brisket. Place brisket, fat side down, in 11-1/2 x 9-inch disposable aluminum pan. Add 1 cup water. Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil. Place in center of grid over very low coals. Cover cooker and cook 5 hours, turning brisket over every 1-1/2 hours; remove excess fat from pan with baster as it accumulates. Add additional 1/2 cup water to pan, if needed. Periodically add just enough additional briquets to keep coals at very low temperature. Remove beef brisket form pan; reserve pan drippings. Place beef brisket on grid, fat side down, directly over very low coals. Replace grill cover and continue cooking 30 minutes. Meanwhile skim and discard fat from pan drippings; reserve 1 cup drippings.

Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Add onions; cook until tender-crisp, stirring occasionally. Add reserved pan drippings, remaining 1/2 teaspoon pepper, catsup, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and pepper sauce; simmer approximately 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Trim excess fat from brisket; carve brisket across the grain into thin slices. Serve beef brisket with sauce...nice ! Enjoy it !

NOTES: Coals should be in a single layer with space between each briquet. To check temperature, cautiously hold hand about 4 inches above coals. Very low coals will force removal of hand in 6 to 7 seconds.

Water Smoker Directions: Prepare smoker according to manufacturer's directions. Place beef brisket, fat side up, in center of cooking rack. Cover smoker and smoke-cook at low to moderate temperature 4 1/2 to 5 hours or until tender.
beef brisket recipes-with-sunchokes.

Stringed Beef Brisket Recipe

Stringed Beef Brisket Recipe
A nice beef brisket recipe to try !

BEEF BRISKET RECIPE Ingredients:

* Kosher salt or to taste
* Freshly ground black pepper or to taste
* 1 beef brisket (6 pounds), cut in 1/2-inch cubes
* 3/4 cup peanut oil
* 1 carrot, peeled and chopped
* 1 leek, washed and diced
* 1 stalk celery, diced
* 2 Tbsp pureed garlic
* 1 onion, chopped
* 2 cups cabernet sauvignon wine
* 12 cups veal stock
* 1 bay leaf
* 2 Tbsp dried thyme
* 1/2 cup cognac

BEEF BRISKET RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Salt and pepper the beef brisket. Add the beef brisket to the bag, squeeze out the air, seal, and refrigerate 3 to 4 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Remove beef brisket and place fat-side up in a roasting pan or dutch oven. Carve slices against the grain and place on serving platter. Cover slices with pan juices and cooked onions and the beef brisket recipe wine marinated is ready to serve.
beef brisket-in-sweet-and-sour-sauce-recipe

Easy Beef Brisket Recipe with Vegetables

Easy Beef Brisket Recipe with Vegetables

A nice beef brisket recipe to try !
Ingredients:

* 1 large (turkey-size) oven cooking bag
* 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
* 3 to 4 pounds flat-cut beef brisket
* 1 teaspoon onion powder
* 1 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed between your palms
* Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
* 3 pounds baby red potatoes, peeled and left whole
* 1 pound carrots, peeled and cut into 3-inch lengths
* 8 ounces mushrooms, cleaned and halved
* 1 head garlic, cloves separated and peeled
* 1/2 large sweet onion, sliced thin
* 1 package Lipton dry onion soup mix
* 1 package Knorr mushroom gravy mix
* 1 cup tomato juice
* 1 cup water
* Cooking spray (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place bag in a large roasting pan and spread the flour evenly over the bottom with your fingers.

Using the onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper, season both sides of the brisket. Place beef brisket, fat-side up, in the cooking bag on top of the flour.

Spread potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and whole garlic cloves evenly around the outside of the brisket inside the bag. Spread the thin-sliced onions on top of the beef brisket.

In a mixing bowl, combine onion soup mix, gravy mix, tomato juice, and water until combined. Slice beef brisket against the grain into thin slices. Serve with vegetables and natural gravy from the bag. Season beef brisket with salt and pepper and then sear (cook over high heat to brown the exterior) on both sides in pan. Remove beef brisket, turn heat to high and add white wine. With a wooden spoon, scrape bottom of pan and reduce wine for 1 minute. Add onion and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Return beef brisket to pan with tomatoes, carrots, parsnips, chicken stock, water, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, and juniper berries. Bring to a simmer.

Cover, place in oven and cook for about 2-1/2 to 3 hours, or until meat is tender (about 145 degrees internal temperature). Discard bay leaf.

Remove beef brisket and slice against the grain into thin slices. Arrange on plates with carrots and parsnips, adding broth to each serving.

Yield: 4 to 6 servings

Notes: Although the juniper berries are listed as an optional ingredient, do use them if you can. A must try one !

INGREDIENTS

1 whole beef brisket (9 to 10 lb.) trimmed

MOP SAUCE:

5 slices bacon, minced

1 c. minced onions

1 1/2 c. beef broth

1/4 c. vegetable oil

1/2 lemon, quartered

2 tbsp. chopped fresh thyme or 1 tsp. dried

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper

DRY RUB:

2 tbsp. seasoned salt

1 tbsp. cracked black peppercorns

1 tbsp. cracked white peppercorns (I substitute ground white pepper)

1 tbsp. garlic powder

1 tbsp. onion powder

1 tbsp. paprika

1 tbsp. sugar

1 tbsp. distilled white vinegar

10 lb. charcoal briquettes

4 c. mesquite wood chips

INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare grill. Soak mesquite chips in water to cover.
Mop Sauce: Cook bacon in medium skillet over medium heat until translucent, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add onions and continue cooking until onions are lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Transfer bacon and onions to medium saucepan; add beef broth, oil, lemon, thyme, salt and pepper. Simmer over low heat to blend flavors, 15 minutes. Set aside.

Dry Rub: While sauce is simmering, combine all ingredients in bowl. Rub dry rub over entire brisket until coated. Sprinkle brisket on both sides with sugar, then vinegar.

To Cook: When coals are covered with white ash, add wood chips. When ash begins to form on the wood chips, close vents on grill half way. Place small pan filled with water on one side of grill bottom. Place the brisket on grill directly over drip pan. Cook covered 2 hours, turning once halfway through.

Continue cooking covered 2 hours more, basting with mop sauce and turning every 30 minutes. (To keep the grill at the proper temperature, replenish with additional hot coals and wood
chips as needed, usually when the meat is turned.)

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. A must try one !

INGREDIENTS
1 whole beef brisket (9 to 10 lb.) trimmed

MOP SAUCE:

5 slices bacon, minced

1 c. minced onions

1 1/2 c. beef broth

1/4 c. vegetable oil

1/2 lemon, quartered

2 tbsp. chopped fresh thyme or 1 tsp. dried

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper

DRY RUB:

2 tbsp. seasoned salt

1 tbsp. cracked black peppercorns

1 tbsp. cracked white peppercorns (I substitute ground white pepper)

1 tbsp. garlic powder

1 tbsp. onion powder

1 tbsp. paprika

1 tbsp. sugar

1 tbsp. distilled white vinegar

10 lb. charcoal briquettes

4 c. mesquite wood chips

INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare grill. Soak mesquite chips in water to cover.
Mop Sauce: Cook bacon in medium skillet over medium heat until translucent, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add onions and continue cooking until onions are lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
Transfer bacon and onions to medium saucepan; add beef broth, oil, lemon, thyme, salt and pepper. Simmer over low heat to blend flavors, 15 minutes. Set aside.

Dry Rub: While sauce is simmering, combine all ingredients in bowl. Rub dry rub over entire brisket until coated. Sprinkle brisket on both sides with sugar, then vinegar.

To Cook: When coals are covered with white ash, add wood chips. When ash begins to form on the wood chips, close vents on grill half way. Place small pan filled with water on one side of grill bottom. Place the beef brisket on grill directly over drip pan.

Wrap beef brisket tightly in heavy foil and place in a roasting pan in the oven. Bake 6 hours or until tender enough to cut with a fork. Carve meat in thin slices across grain to serve. This great beef brisket recipe is ready for feasts ! Spread onions on top.Season brisket on both sides with salt and pepper. Place on top of the vegetables, fat-side up. Sprinkle fat side of brisket with crushed oregano, then dry onion soup mix.Cover crockpot and set on Low for 8 hours.When done, remove brisket to a platter, cover with foil, and let rest for 15 to 20 minutes before slicing against the grain. Serve with the vegetables and pot juices, accompanied by a green salad for a full meal...The beef brisket recipe is ready...nice taste. Cola in the sauce helps tenderize brisket. Make the brisket the day before and reheat for best flavor.

Ingredients:

* 1 medium onion, peeled and quartered
* 1 two-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled
* 6 large cloves garlic
* 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
* 1/2 cup dry red wine
* 1-1/2 cups Coca-Cola or ginger ale
* 1 cup ketchup
* 1/4 cup honey
* 1/4 cup cider vinegar
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 1/2 cup olive oil
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
* 1 Tablespoon coarsely ground pepper or to taste
* 1 six- to seven-pound first-cut brisket, rinsed and patted thoroughly dry

Preparation:
Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Place onion, ginger, garlic, Dijon mustard, red wine, cola, ketchup, honey, cider vinegar, soy sauce, olive oil, cloves, and pepper into a food processor, and process with steel blade
until smooth.

Place brisket, fat side up, into a heavy baking pan just large enough to hold it, and pour sauce over it. Cover tightly and bake for 2 hours. Turn brisket over and bake uncovered for one
more hour or until fork-tender. Cool, cover brisket and refrigerate overnight in cooking pan.
The next day, transfer brisket to a cutting board, cut off fat and cut with a sharp knife against grain, to desired thickness.

Remove any congealed fat from sauce and bring to a boil on top of stove.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Taste sauce to see if it needs reducing. If so, boil it down for a few minutes or as needed. Return meat to sauce and warm in oven for 20 minutes. Serve warm..great beef brisket taste
